WCTSMA Student Scholarships Due March 1st
Winners will be announced at the annual Spring Symposium and State Competition in April.
Dale Blair Athletic Training Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Dale Blair Scholarship Application and Rubric- 1 scholarship for $1000
All Applicants Must:
Be a high school senior at the date of the application.
Intend to earn a degree in athletic training.
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.
Be sponsored by an athletic trainer/instructor of a recognized WCTSMA sports medicine program.
Attend a high school that is a member of WCTSMA in good standing.
Submit an application postmarked on or before March 1st.
General Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
General WCTSMA Scholarship Application and Rubric- 4 scholarships, $1000 each
All Applicants Must:
Be a high school senior at the date of the application.
Intend to earn a degree in the medical field.
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA based on a 4.0 scale.
Be sponsored by an athletic trainer/instructor of a recognized WCTSMA sports medicine program.
Attend a high school that is a member of WCTSMA in good standing.
Submit an application postmarked on or before March 1st.
Application Instructions:
You may only apply for one of the scholarships. Multiple applications will not be processed.
1. There are three sections of the applications to be completed:
An application to be completed and signed by the student and their Sports Medicine Instructor
A letter of recommendation, by the instructor of the WCTSMA program.
Short answer responses to be written by the nominee
2. Incomplete applications will not be processed. All applications must include an official transcript, necessary signatures, and other requested information.
3. The WCTSMA student applicant is considered to be the individual responsible for collecting all official transcripts and the completed application, and forwarding them to the Scholarship Selection Committee.
4. The scholarship application must be postmarked on or before deadline of application to be eligible for the scholarship.
5. All pages of the application must be typed. Please download the scholarship file. It is a fillable pdf.
